Intern Debt Advisory

Throughout the year, Oaklins offers a 3-month internship to ambitious graduate students with an interest in Debt Advisory.

Full-time internship · Amsterdam, Zuidas

Join our team of motivated and ambitious colleagues and work on a wide range of national and international financing solutions. Oaklins has offices in more than 45 locations employing more than 850 people worldwide, while still maintaining the culture and benefits of a small team. We offer great opportunities to operate and grow alongside accomplished advisors and entrepreneurs.

What you will do and learn

Oaklins' Debt Advisory professionals support public and private companies, management teams, shareholders, financial sponsors and debt providers with the origination and execution of (complex) financing structures. Having an independent position, we use our knowledge and our network to identify solutions and financial institutions best suited to our clients’ needs. As a debt intern, you will be actively involved in acquisition finance (LBO), corporate lending, asset-based lending, restructuring and recapitalizations. You will work along with junior and senior Oaklins professionals and participate in many aspects of Debt Advisory transactions.

We are looking for graduates who are motivated, eager to learn, and are passionate about Debt Advisory. The internship comes with a high level of responsibility and the opportunity to experience a steep learning curve. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to experience the Oaklins culture and feel what it is like to be part of the number one independent global investment bank. You'll receive on-the-job training and benefit from working in a small specialized team.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to start as a full-time Analyst at our Debt Advisory team.

Oaklins’ Intern Academy

Oaklins provides an effective learning experience based on a structured training programme, where interns can learn about topics such as valuation, financial modelling, special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs), due diligence and contracting.

Equipping the next generation of dealmakers with the knowledge to excel in M&A, Equity Capital Markets and Debt Advisory is at the core of our Intern Academy. We aim to inform, engage and inspire our interns to perform at the top of their potential.
